How do I create a check-in?

Open the MapFlex app, tap the "+" button on the home screen, allow location access when prompted, and the app will automatically detect your current province. Add photos, write a journal entry, and tap "Check In" to save your memory!

How do I delete my account?

Go to Profile → Settings → "Delete Account". You'll be asked to confirm. After deletion, there's a 30-day grace period before your data is permanently removed. You can cancel the deletion anytime during this period by logging back in.

How do I export my data?

Go to Profile → Settings → "Download My Data". Your data will be exported in JSON format and you can share it to your email or save it to your device. This includes all your check-ins, photos, journal entries, and statistics.

Is my location data private?

Yes! All your location data is completely private. We only collect your GPS location when you create a check-in, and we never share it with other users or third parties. Your check-ins and travel history are visible only to you unless you choose to share externally.

What's included in Premium?

MapFlex Premium ($4.99/month) includes: 10 photos per check-in (vs. 3 for free), 20+ premium share card templates, HD quality exports with no watermark, video recap generation, custom branding, advanced analytics, and priority support.

How do I cancel my Premium subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through your Apple App Store or Google Play Store account. On iOS: Settings → Your Name → Subscriptions → MapFlex. On Android: Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions → MapFlex. You can cancel anytime with no fees.

Can I share my achievements on social media?

Yes! Tap "Share Your Journey" in your profile to generate beautiful share cards. Choose from 20+ templates and share to Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, or any other platform via the iOS/Android share sheet. Sharing is completely optional.

What are referral codes?

When you invite friends to MapFlex, you get a unique referral link. When someone signs up using your link, you both get bonus points! You earn 100 points and they get 50 points. Find your referral link in Profile → "Invite Friends".

Why isn't my location detected automatically?

Make sure you've granted location permissions to MapFlex in your device settings. On iOS: Settings → MapFlex → Location → "While Using the App". If location still isn't working, try restarting the app or your device. You can also manually select a province if GPS isn't available.

How do achievements work?

You earn achievements by reaching milestones like your first check-in, visiting 10 provinces, completing a country 100%, discovering rare provinces, and more! Each achievement awards points that contribute to your travel score. Check your profile to see all available achievements.

Can I use MapFlex offline?

Currently, MapFlex requires an internet connection to create check-ins and sync your data. However, you can view your existing check-ins offline. Offline maps are coming in a future update for Premium users!

Is MapFlex available worldwide?

Yes! MapFlex supports provinces and states in countries worldwide. Our database includes detailed province/state boundaries for most countries, with more being added regularly. If you notice a missing location, please email us at support@mapflex.online.

How do I report a bug or request a feature?
